We currently offer a few different shipping methods depending on what is being ordered and the delivery location
We ship all orders within 3-5 working days, dependent on availability, we may be able to ship out orders same day and get your order to you next day.
This is subject to delivery location and product backorders.
You can usually expect your order within 5 business days however if it takes any longer feel free to contact us for an update on your order.
To track your order simply visit your account and navigate to your order tracking page.
You’ll be able to see if you’re order has been shipped and the estimated delivery date of your order.
We will also email you a tracking number if applicable.
You can place an order by simply adding the desired products to your cart and heading to the checkout. Once you’ve paid we will send you a confirmation email and delivery updates.
Alternatively you can phone and place an order by phone, or simply visit us in store and our team will assist you in your purchase.

- 8 – 5pm Monday-Thursday
- 8 – 3pm Fridays
While you do not need an account to checkout with us, we do recommend you create one to keep track of your orders and make it easier for us to assist you with your purchases.

Customer & Supplier Accounting Database
When you are a client we store your information within our accounting system ‘Sage’. This data is stored in a secure database and is stored for the purpose of contacting for accounting purposes in line with HMRC Guidelines. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.
Clients or Suppliers Data
When contacting Maker Coating – if a quote is required this information is stored on a database which is saved within our secure server which is located within our head office in Exeter.
Clients wishing to set up Maker Credit accounts
We ask all clients to complete a ‘New Account Proposal Form’ when wishing to set up a credit account. The information provided by the client is used to check eligibility through the use of Experian the credit score experts by a member of the Maker Coating team. Information on how Experian use your information can be found here https://www.experian.co.uk/consumer/privacy.html#n3 The New Account Form is stored in a secure place within the Maker Coating Office.
Online Payments and Sales
When purchasing through our website all of your information including bank details are handled by our supplier Sage Pay. You order details (not including bank details) are stored on our website e-commerce system Woo Commerce details of how they handle this data can be found here
As a current customer we use the data within Woo commerce to register you to our mailing list database stored within ‘Mailchimp’ so that we can keep you up to date under ‘legitimate interest’ with latest important information, opening hours, offers, etc (please see below).

When someone visits www.makercoating.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Mailing Lists & Marketing
As part of the registration process, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about products and services, current offers and industry specific news; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Phil Grierson
Access to Data
